That was my car, it was getting it's 30k when you were all there. The "special sauce" usually winds up on my shirt and pants, not in the car.

I really enjoy giving friends a ride, however, the rule, is no drinking, no eating. I usually also warn them about car sickness...

It bugs me to even hear about people smoking in a fun car...

Jim,
Was that your white car I saw in NORWOODS a couple months ago?
(Yah, I'll bet it's loud! ha ha)

I thought it was only me, that is able to eat in a Ferrari. No smokeing though! You can always clean "special sauce"

I drove through Arbys a few weeks ago to get lunch in the Ferrari. The car was so loud at idle, the guy told me to just drive the window and order because he couldn't hear me! When I got there he said, "I knew that had to be a cool car".

Im with you Ed. A little burger and fries wont stain the carpet or leather and is easy to clean up. Besides, I generally manage to not drool it all over the place ;)

I draw the line at cigarettes. They just stink up the car.

I will drink stuff in my car, however, eating is forbidden. There is nothing worse than cleaning a car and finding "stone age era " french fries under the seats.

I can't remember eating in the Ferrari, I'm sure I have at one point or another. A couple times I have gone for fast food runs in it though. Always fun trying to reach up to the window. Need a copilot though to hold the drinks. When I go to pickup pizza (why have it delivered when you can go pick it up in a Ferrari, also I am my family's white slave being the youngest and the only son) I put a towel over the passenger seat and put the pizza on it. I always have the windows open so it works well.

I don't have my car yet, but I can guess that no one eats in the Ferrari..Water is o.k only because it doesn't stain......

My wife and I go to the Drive-in movies during the Summer and pack a Goodie bag with Cokes and Popcorn and if we get really hungry we go to the snack bar for Cheezeburgers. If we spill something it ain't the end of the world, we clean it up. I love my car but if I cannot use it then I don't want it. If I ruin something then dammit I fixed it once and I can fix it again. My car is a Driver and a User. If you can afford a Ferrari you should be able to afford to use it.

No food but drinks are a must in the summer. My Honda is trashed from the kids eating in it but that's what a Honda is for.

Ernesto, you just made me laugh! That is hilarious! You should have taken a big bite out of it before you threw it out the window.

I never eat a thing in my cars, I'm too busy driving the car. I hardly ever have a passenger, if I did, they would not be allowed to eat food in the car, bottled water is OK though.

I think it was rude for your friend to assume that anything is permissable in YOUR car. While I also agree with bottled water I am a cigar smoker, so I do smoke cigars in MY car. However, it would never cross my mind to do that in someone elses car(no matter what make) without them suggesting it first.

My friend once took a sandwich out of his backpack and started to eat it in my car. I promptly took it away from him and threw it out the window. He got a little mad, but never did it again.

My thoughts are that you shouldnt be eating in your car (or reading, doing makeup, etc etc), you should be DRIVING it.

Ok it is just a car, I do eat and drink in my car. I will roll down the windows though. It depends on what is fun for you, I do not let the car change my lifestyle, but that is just me

I think your absolutely right in saying that! I think the water thing is just fine, always cleanable. If this person does not respect that then he needs to get other means of transportation (his own)

Bottled water is OK. As for food, I don't allow it because of the smells (they stick around longer than the food) and potential messes on the leather or carpet. Cigarettes are absolutely forbidden!

I was recently driving the 355 with a friend when we stopped at a convience store..he had to run in to get some ciggerates.. suddenly he comes out with not only the smokes but some doritos! he preceeds to open the chips in the 355 and I tell him.."eat that and your walking!" he got upset...i told him i only drink bottled water in the ferrari..i told him that he needs to show more respect for people property, espiecally when people spend this much money on a car

your thoughts??
