the yellow 360 (pictures #7, 8, and 14) is from salt lake. the car was being driven by the owner's buddy's wife. at 140 mph on the freeway at night she clipped another car trying to get around it. she hit the center divider and was flipped onto the roof where it slid for 100 yards. she caused a five car pileup. both the driver and the owner walked away. car was 3 months old. damn shame, the car was a gift from the original purchaser to a business colleage for some deal. easy come easy go.

LOL, well Edward, surely there is a real Mr. Bean out there (probably a little of him in everyone out there), but the real Mr Bean no longer only drives Mini's.

There was an article about that on NSX files I think it is, the website with the two guys that got 355s and the one races a modded NSX, the other a Porsche. Apparently this happened at a dealership sponsored track day out in California if memory serves me. I can't find it on the site as they have changed it around, but it's probably still on there.

Are you telling me that Mr. Bean is not a real person? I have the tapes to prove he is real and drives a Mini.

Edward, Mr Bean drives a Mini, Rowan Atkinson on the other hand is actually an avid auto enthusiast.

That one happened in Oceanside, Long Island, which is about 10 minutes from my restaurant. About 2 weeks prior to that accident the Diablo driver was at my restaurant with a bunch of Porsche guys. He was drag racing the vette when he went changed lanes on the opposite side to overtake slwower cars in front of him, hit the poor guy in the volvo head on.

Yeah that's the one that happened right here in NJ (maybe it was NY, but close to us NJ guys). It was the driver of the Diablo and the driver of the Volvo (something along these lines) that he hit head on that died.

Q:
The picture of the Diablo and Corvette in front of the buses? Is this the one that happened recently where both drivers died? Man, that site is too sad!

The guy was chill, I asked him if he could take it off cause I didnt say he could use it and he said no problem. I just think it's kind of a blemish to have it floating around as a wrecked 308 when that was fixed perfectly and now so much time and money is going into it to really make it move. Not a big deal. Like I said before, I'll never sell it. The market for them isn't good IMO making it worth selling and I'll have no financial reasons to warrant a sale. Plus, I'm still obsessed with 308s.

I did that like maybe 3 months after I got it, hence my overwhelming knowledge when anyone asks about body work. It had just started raining and I was doing like 50mph on a concrete highway (read slick) with my bridgestones on it (waiting for the Pirellis to be delivered at this time) at night and like maybe 15 car lengths behind a Jeep Cherokee. He stood on his brakes because like 100 feet up the road someone had hit someone else, so I stood on mine and unfortunately there were several cars next to me and no shoulder so nowhere to go. I just kept trying to stop as hard as I could (no ABS) and just slid into him going like 5mph. The headlight was up though so it got wrapped and the grill behind it. When I got out after this I look in front of his car and the accident is like 150 feet up the road. I was like seriously dude, when you saw a car come sliding towards you for like 100 feet did it ever cross your mind that maybe pulling up would be a good idea. Luckily it was just light skin damage. I replaced the hood with a new one (aluminum impossible to fix), headlight with a new one, grill with a new one, and nose clip was just pushed down 3/4" though so it was pressed out and the front end was matched and repainted. It came out beautiful, some of the guys from this site have seen it and can attest to that. It wasn't cheap though doing all this work. It wound up being around $6K to fix. Now I have a reason to turn it into a 308 beast, I mean any Ferrari with body damage is useless as a normal car, lol. I get a big kick out of people's purity issues, these cars all have filler in them from the factory and panels banged out by hand, so when it is redone people usually get all iffy about it. The good part is that it was just body damage, and light at that. No frame, not even the headlight mount got bent. I have to give to Ferrari for making a great chassis.

Feel sorry for number 26 KO (11 of 27) IN Lambo Diablo, does it not look like hes still CHARRED in the drivers seat looking upward, just a water truck there n a tow,hes miles from nowhere.Brett. really sorry to see your car like that you fall into the 10% catagory of Hit while parked ..theres an old saying that applys to alot of high performance rides .....STRAIGHT LINES ARE FOR RACE CARS,...CURVES ARE FOR RACE DRIVERS......

I just ran into this site the other day myself. Unfortunately I bet it's real popular, like gawking at freeway accidents. Plus, I've never seen a site with more obnoxious advertising in my life. That alone will drive viewers away.

The first McLaren appears to be taken from a newspaper cutting about the fatal crash of a wealthy computer whizz kid here in the UK. This is some time ago but I remember it well. The driver and both passengers were killed - this car was just a demonstrator, he was meant to have another F1 made ready fro him.
He was overtaking whole lines of traffic and reached 110mph in a 30mph zone. It was wet and he lost control...

I'm not sure people should be posting things like that. My curiousity got the the better of me but I won't be going back there again.

I think the third McLaren was Rowan Atkinson's (Mr. Bean).

As for the rest, I can imagine the ad now, "Repainted due to small scratch. No serious accidents. Excellent condition...almost like new (again)."

It's my fuckin 308 and the put it up there without asking. I emailed him, we'll see where that goes. I'm never gonna sell it so I don't really care to be honest, but still. If I was going to sell it I wouldn't put endless work and money into it.

Tillman, one 308 definately looks familiar. Almost as if a moving truck backed into it. It has to be the one from this board.

Hmmmm.

I think at least one of the 308 photos is a Ferrarichat member's car. If so, I wonder if he gave that site permission to use the pics.

Still, an interesting but saddening site.
