If you can give the vin# to any Ferrari dealer, they can run it and at least find out which dealer sold it new and the date sold. I would be wary of a car with no history. Locally, a guy bought a 348 from Fcar dealer and a year later, the sheriff was at his door with a tow truck to recover what was actually a stolen car and the title somehow redone in Texas I believe. To the dealer's credit, they rebought the car from the rightful owner and customer kept the car, but it taught me you can't be too careful. The Fcar dealer was never able to recover funds from the broker that sold them the car. Dave |

find out who the dealer got it from and ask that person where he got it from etc etc. If this is a ferrari dealer I would have them put in writing they do not beleive the car has ever been in a major accident and that the services are currently done |

I am currently looking at a couple of 348 TS' and have located a 1993 that Carfax shows no history prior to 1998. Dealer has nothing as well. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the history or records? |
