Any real sanction will never happen. The June hearing will be a public slap on the wrist only, to show the FIA are "doing something". Ferrari and its fans brings half of all the money into F1, and the FIA know it.

In other words, the fans in Austria and media are what dictate the definition of "bringing the Championship into disrepute?" I think the FIA will not penalyze Ferrari for what happened given that it has been an accepted practice allowed by the FIA. Unless that changes, it will continue to happen.

Explain how the other times team orders came into play did not bring the sport into disrepute and the latest example did?

Ernesto, the times race fixing had been done in the past by other teams it did not bring the Championship into "disrepute" like it did at the Austrian GP. Did you see and hear those Austrian fans ? Between the fans and media , disrepute does not fully cover the shame that Ferrari has brought on the Championship. Those French at the FIA are going to be outranged at the meeting with Ferrari.

This is very subjective language. I can't really see how they have allowed Ferrari, McLaren, and Williams to use these tactics in the past, then suddenly do a 180 and disqualify Ferrari for doing it. Worst case scenario is that the FIA clarify this and make it illegal to do so in the future. But they cant suddenly change from one race to another without notice...

FIA Regulation # 48, states "...If in the opinion of the F1 Commission a competitor fails to operate his team in a manner...which brings the Championship into disrepute, the FIA may exclude such competitor from the Championship forthwith..." Most should agree than Ferrari is in violation of this regulation. Hopefully the FIA will agree and disqualify Ferrari from the Austian GP. go to www.fia.com to read all the regulations yourself.
