Branko: The date isn't set yet, but it's generally is early to mid October. Watch our websites at www.fca-se.org and www.fca-se.com for updates to the event calendar.

Mike, last years Atlanta Italian Car Day was on Oct. 5. Does that mean this years event will be around the same date?

David: The "Atlanta Italian Car Day" info and website is at www.ItalianCarDay.com

There's also going to be one in Memphis on Father's Day.

John, do you want me to help arrange another Italian Car cruise-in at Giovanni's like last year ? It would be much better in the Spring than the heat like last summer. I plan to eat dinner there tonight and can ask the owner.

Ferrari Owner votes for sure! If we had enough money, which we don't, I'd like to have a 1st & 2nd place for V6/V8 and 12cyl car categories, and then split each of them again at some certian year. Maybe like 1989/1990 for V6/V8 (328/348)and 1984 for 12cyl (boxer/TR), or something like that. It would also be nice to have a 2+2 award.

Is anyone opposed to a Ferrari tack-on fee at Italian Car Day to pay for a trophy or two? I'd like to come up with a category that will award someone who does not own a 275, since they will certainly always get the people's choice awards.

So what kind of event would best support a raffle? Maybe this is something we could do at the season's kick-off party (now in planning).

How about a raffle ? Perhaps you can ask what reasonable items the members would buy a ticket, and then get the items from FoA. It doesn't have to be an item, but a service. How about raffling a car detail?

I am sure some of you guys have heard of Nextel. They do have a capability called Group Connect that allows you to talk to everyone on your fleet. Some of you may already have them also so you wouldn't need equipment if you do. If anyone wants info let me know. I'm in Southern Alabama and could fax you info. Regular radios may be cheaper though and you will not have a monthly bill. Just trying to help:-)

We need to generate a little capital in order to purchase "weekend drive" communication radios, and Ferrari Club Trophies for Italian Car Day. But, I don't want to come off as ripping folks off either. All suggestions will be considered. I do have something in mind, but I'm keeping it under raps until I hear from all of you.
