On my visit to the Winery last month, the owner told me that we would get more value for our $20 if we did our event on a Sunday when there is the normal buffet luncheon.
The owner says that we can have seperate parking just for us whenever we do it.
Please keep the thoughts and ideas coming so we can nail down a date. Thanks!

I would suggest not having it the same weekend as the jazz event. I wouldn't feel safe leaving my car unattended around non-car type folks. I've seen problems in the past in those type of situations. JMHO

Thanks for the input, just what I'm looking for. I believe it can be done that weekend, just looking for a consensus so we can get as many cars there as possible.

Isn't Atlanta Italian Car Day usually in October?

I have never been to the winery, nor do I know what all is entailed in organizing such an event but why not hold the event in conjunction with the art and jazz weekend?

As I discussed with a couple of you at the T.Rutlands event, we are looking to do the Ferrari Day at Wolf Mountain Winery in early September. In looking at their schedule, they have Sunday the 14th as the 1st Annual Art & Jazz event. The other Sundays in September are open. So do we want to plan our day there for Sunday Sept. 7th? Or is that too early and hot? We could always do it sometime after Italian Car Day.
Any and all input will be appreciated.

Did anyone go the the Father's Day cookout and car show? If so, how was it. I really liked the Winery and wanted to know what others thought.
We still have to come up with a date for them to host the Ferrari Club.

It looks as if my pictures are larger than the 640 X 640 size needed for posting. I'm not sure how to shrink them but I'll work on it.

Frank, The Winery is very small and wouldn't have even close to enough parking. If you're going up there for Father's Day you'll see what I mean. I took some photos of the place Sunday and will try to post them this evening.

That's a great idea... but one of you Atlanta folks should contact the Pantera guys that organize it. Wasn't that John Montgomery?

Walt, it would be great if the Italian Car Cruise-in could be held there this Fall instead of at lake Lanier.

My Wife & I went up the the Winery this past Sunday. It's a very nice little winery and the weather was perfect. I talked to the owner and he said that if any of us come up for the Father's Day event let him know and he might be able to park your cars up front. We also talked about an event just for the Ferrari Club. There were 2 choices for us, Sat. which will have to be catered or Sunday when he has the regular buffet lunch. Either way it will be $20 per head and he said the better value for us would be on a Sunday. I told him that we were looking at a date in September or possibly early October.
If anyone has any input or dates in mind please post them.
For the June 15th($20 in advance) call Karl Boegner on his cell 404-538-9244 tell him you are with the F Club and he may park you right up front. You can visit the web site at

I'm thinking that any of us who want to, or can, go there on Father's day should. I won't be there 'cause it's my first father's day & I want to spend it with my family.

However, we will definitly talk with him about having our own event there real soon!

Thanks Walt!

John, I just talked to the owner of Wolf Mountain Winery and he would love to have a Ferrari at his 1st annual Father's Day cookout and auto show. I've posted information on this before. If there is enough interest I think it would be a fun day. Besides that he would like to have the Ferrari Club come up for a day just for us. He said that there is plenty of parking. In addition he said that the winery is just a couple miles from the "Suches Loop".
