Troy, you are more than welcome to come by the studio anytime. It was a pleasure meeting you and your friends. I'll use any excuse in the wind to get out the 308.

Branko -
Just wanted to thank you for the oil filters and taking the time to deliver them in your 308. Its always great to see other peoples f-cars. Hopefully I'll be in the area for some upcoming events and can get together with y'all.

I'll be back in town for at least 3 more games this season, so if I have some time I'll try to stop by your studio. I'd love to see some of your work while its in progress.

TWS, if it is more convenient, since you will be without transportation, I can meet you at their house on Crestside Rd.

Let me get back to you on those questions. I don't personally know where any of those places are, but the people I am staying with surely will. Their house is on Crestside Road (not too far from the water tower), so I'm sure its close to one of those areas. I will be without a car for the weekend, so will be relying on those I am staying with to get me around. Let me talk to them, and I'll get back to you.

TWS, I live in Mountain Brook. Do you know where English Village, Crestline Village or Mountain Brook Village are? Unless you have an alternate location in mind, I can meet you at anyone of these places. What is better for you, to meet on Friday, Sunday or Monday?

Mike,
Unfortunately I don't have any digital photos, and don't own my own digital camera. I'll try to borrow one in the next few days and take a bunch of photos of it on and off the car. I'll post them as soon as I can.

Do you have a picture of the Saratoga top? I've heard of them, but never seen one.

Branko - Any chance you live in/near Mountain Brook? I'll be there from Friday-Monday, except for Saturday when I'll be in Auburn for the USC game. Thanks for the compliments on the car. Wasn't sure it was the color for me until I flew out to California to see it. Since I got the car one thing that I found is amazing is when you get together with other Ferrari people how enamored they are with an older blue Ferrari.

Mike - the previous owner did the window upgrade. Originally I thought I was going to switch it back, but I have grown to prefer them this way. Unfortunately the targa top is still black, but I got a Saratoga top with the car, so I haven't even used the factory top. The Saratoga gives about an extra 1" or so of head room, plus its clear. It would definitely be cool though, to a targa top that matched the car.

TWS... I see you had your louvers cut to GTB style! Or was it already that way when you bought the car? Is the targa top body color?

Branko,
I realize that its been a few months since you posted this, but do you still have the filters available? I just bought a 1988 328 GTS and need to do an oil change, plus would like to have a few spare filters on hand. I'll be in Birmingham for Labor Day weekend, so if you have some you still want to sell, let me know. Maybe we can get together rather than you having to ship them.

Thanks.

After reading a lot of input on FC about Baldwin B253 oil filters as being the best bang for the buck, I decided to try one. My local source did not stock them, so I had to buy a case (12) of the Baldwin B253 oil filters. They fit 308's,328's and Mondials. So, if anybody needs some, I will let you have them at my cost of $8.50 each, plus shipping.
