What is more important to me is that we have somewhere to meet with our cars once a month. We had to do something in August. It might as well have been this show. As for the time of day, I agree that the morning is a better time. However, I know of three cars that could not have made it in the morning 'cause there was not time to clean them during the week. Anyone is welcome to plan their own event and do it as they see fit. My only complaint is the little girl who dripped snow cone all over my car (almost every panel). |

I think planning a show that ends after dark will keep away the high-buck autos as well. Nobody wants bugs splattered all over their paintwork on the way home. But that's just my opinion. |

October mornings will never compete with August afternoons, OK enough on the subject of hot weather!!! |

Italian Car Day at Lake Lanier always brings the very very high buck cars. And as I recall it was a very hot and sunny day (with just a 20 sec dash of rain). Always in October too.

That's my point Frank.....There wasn't any.....The guys I know that own the upper figure exotics would not leave their cars baking out there unless they had to....I think if the show was held early morning or from 6 till dark, the cream of the crop would show up from both Lamborghini and Ferrari, just like Italian Car Day.....Doing such a nice car show in the middle of the day doesn't make much sense in my opinion, even schedule wise....By the way, I wasn't the only one complaining about the time....September sounds a lot better..... |

It was hot, but that's life in Georgia in August. I have recommended that the show be moved to late September which would hopefully be a little cooler. By the way, I didn't see any $300k cars there....which car are you referring to ? |

It was a great show, great cars and all, but who made up that time of 3 to 6PM? It was way too hot, and I think the turn out would have been much greater if the time was either in the morning, or even better, later from 6 till dark, and make it a family outing.....I know a lot of exotics would have been there if at night, mine included....I just don't see a $300K car baking in the sun for 3 hours, that's not my idea of a good car show, so maybe they will consider a different schedule for the next summer event.... |
