Yesterday at lunch, i saw a 355 spider on Deer Park Avenue; dark blue or black, i'm not sure, but the top was up... Last night, after work, i saw a yellow 3X8 coming off of the Sunken Meadow parkway, in Commack... Looks awesome in yellow, in person... :-)

Last night @ Bentley of Long Island, 3 in a row, sitting right next to each other:
Black arachnid 360
Red 348 ts with removable hardtop
Yellow Testarossa...
Mmmmmmmm, tasty...

Of course, they had others, including the dark blue 355 in the window, but those three in a row looked awesome... :-)

Is this the DES spotters thread? I must admit that I have never actually spotted DES, and I'm not sure that I would want to. DES is probably like a UFO, or Bigfoot, or a will-o-the-wisp. You hear alot of talk about it, but never actually see it. Perhaps some doors should remain closed and DES should remain a Cyber-entity.

Dan,

some are black, some are color coated.

78-82 had them behind the headlights. 83-85 had them behind the headlights and across the hood, similar to the 328

they are standard on Euro 308's as well. Location is not an excuse for his stupidity. Considering all the Ferrari's he owned and test drove, he should have known.

DES spotted a Ferrari yesterday. He thinks. Well, it MIGHT have been a Ferrari, because it looked cool. It had kind of a pointy nose, and sat sort of low. And it's engine was sort of towards the back. It must've been one of those low production models though, because he hadn't heard of the Ferrari Karman Ghia before. It was cool though.

The first place to look is the door handles, inside and out. The later models have a black rubber ring around the outside handle, and the inside handle is visible.

Last night, on my way back from Sky Drive, on Route 110, i saw a dark blue or black 355... At first, i saw the back of it and immediately knew what it was... Beeped at the two kids in it, gave them the thumbs up and i was off... Nice car, but they seemed indifferent to it... Go figure...
