Actually it's a method for YOUR madness. All part of a government plot to drive you crazy I was experimenting with a few pictures. It didn't turn out quite the way I expected so I deleted them. I used it a couple times lately out on the main forums because I had problems getting a picture uploaded correctly. You can't leave it blank so the next best thing is a white period. edit: Now you can't |

If you change the "attributes" of the pic simply chops off part of the pic.
If you "stretch" it stretches or compresses the pic and can make the picture looks squished if you change the "horizontal" and not the "vertical" or vice versa.
When you are splitting the pic in half you only want to change the width using attributes. If you find that the pic is too large and use the "stretch & skew" you want to change both the horizonantal and vertical to shrink it down to size.

Here is what I do to make picture halves match perfectly. Using Microsoft Paint go to image pulldown menu and go to "attributes" and make the width number half of what it was. This will chop off the right half of the pic. Then save as "half 1" or whatever. Then go to edit and undo which will undo cutting the width in half. Then go to the image pulldown menu flip the pic horizontally. Then go back to attributes and cut the width in half, flip the pic back the right direction and save as "half 2" or whatever.
