Hi Jack, which version of the F40 do you have? (Red, Yellow, Black, or the race versions)

If anybody is interested, I do have an unbuild Pocher F40 available. (Not cheap as shipping is HUGE on these babies).

Vik, it is hard to get big Lambo models. There is one of a 1:12 scale Countach that i am building right now, which is made by Otaki. Great kit, and great detail. You can get it on ebay for around 100.00.

I absolutely love these things, I have one of each edition. The first one has height problems - the springs were too soft for the weight of the car, so the tires go WAY too far up into the fender wells. The second kit's suspension was corrected or improved as far as I can tell with the two side by side. Both are great kits, definitely get one if you can.

I've been looking at getting one of these, I've found a couple under $400 ;
http://www.greathobbies.com/frame_index.html has them for under $300(prices shown are in CAD).
http://www.autofanatics.com/ferf50112sca.html has them for $379 .
http://ehobbies.com/tamiya-plastic-models-1-12-scale-collector-s-club-special.html for $369.
Theres even a couple on Ebay with "Buy it now" for under $300.

I have a 1:8 Pocher Testarossa. Those are very cool models made by Pocher.

Art, i dont think this model is very difficult to assemble, i think its 90% complete.

Allan:

Let me know how much trouble it was to assemble it. I wouldn't mind putting one together.

The one you've bought is the I believe 2nd edition. It's semi-assembled. I have the 1st edition which is exactly the same but fully assembled. Great model.
