Congrat Solly on your new ride! Have a blast at Moroso and don't forget about Sebring the first weekend in April.

Attention Gentlemen: If the odd chance arises that you drive your Pride and Joy to Chicago, might I strongly suggest you don't valet them. Not sure how the systems work elsewhere, but for anyone who's seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off, it's not all fiction. I have personally witnessed random stragglers helping themselves to other peoples' cars. Pull up in front (sans attitude), kindly offer to pre-pay/tip, and request a table near the window.

Just the other day, saw a newish Esprit reversing the wrong way down our 1-way street close to 30mph. Wasn't until it went by that I noticed the tell-tale red vest on the valet inside.

Dinner last night at Cheesecake factory in Marina Del Rey, Calif.,valet moved out a brand new mercedes so I could park my TR in front, by myself. $10 usually covers the valet and makes him happy he didn't try to get in. Never give up the keys.

My reason for valet parking is that in Dallas they'll put 2-3 Vallet rows up front and Ferrari always gets the best place. Otherwise you would be parking in back. I usually try to offer the valet that I'll park it. I always walk to the car myself when I'm done.

Congrats Steven on your new car! Man you have b_lls, I would not give my keys to a valet for any reason. Specially after just picking up the car. Well, I hope everything is fine when you get it back to you.

Read a story about a valet that went mad driving a F355 F1....Lost control and totalled the car.

What you've got to ask yourself is...

'what would you do if you were a valet and someone drove up in a 360 Modena Spyder....'

I just picked up the car and drove to my hotel. It was a blast going down 95 with the top down!!

The valet guy jumped into the car at the hotel before I even had a chance to say anything, and kind of nodded when I asked him if he knew what he was doing, and how to raise the top. Then he split. Do you guys let valets park your cars?

Congratulation Solly! I just had the same problem with my F40. can't sleep, then you get it and your too tired to drive, of course you do anyway, then you look at it some more, finally you go to sleep, wake a few hours later, go to the garage, sit in the car and make high pitched vrooom vrooom sounds, then back in for another hour or so of sleep. I know the felling well.

Enjoy !

It's 1 AM, I just got off a flight to Ft. Lauderdale, and I pick up my 360 Spider in 12 hours. I can't sleep. I am amazed that after 2 kids, a war, and all the other life crises that I am so excited over this.

I will be in Florida until next Tuesday. Anyone want to come out and play? I e-mailed Moroso telling them I want to rent their track on Thurs. or Fri. this week if it's available. Shelton will send tech. support. If I can get the track anyone in S. Florida is invited to bring your cars and run them as my guests. I will post updates later today. It would be great if we could get the track for a day. I know I'm rambling. Trying meditation now maybe I'll sleep.
