Tony,

I upgraded my 355 street car with a Brembo brake kit. It consisted of F50 calipers at the front and F40 calipers at the rear with 355 mm drilled Brembo rotors and steel brake lines. The cost of the kit is a bit expensive at $7000 but if you tarck your car often of drive it very hard on the street these are very good brakes.

My 355 was a 95 and it had very poor brakes for track use. The Brembo kit is somewhere in between the stock brakes and the 14 inch Brembo's on my 355 Challenge car (now those are some brakes!).

If you are just driving it on the street try Motul 600 brake fluid (higher boiling point) and steel lines and maybe get some Pagid street pads as a cheaper alternative. If at this point you are still getting fade then look to upgrade the rotors.

Regards,

Has anyone here upgraded the brakes on a 355 F1? I'm getting fade sometimes and I really think there must be something better out there. I';ve noticed on the Fiorano handling pack that there are different discs.

Advice anyone?
