I on the other hand was dissapointed for a different reason, I did not think it was loud enough. At idle the car has more sound, and from 1500 to 3000 rpm there is a little difference, but once above 3000 it sounds almost like the stock exhaust.

Call Tino from Mensi. He has a 360 with a Tubi and he sells Tubi. Very nice guy with lots of input into Tubi.
Will likely make you a deal you can not beat anywhere else!

Can anyone tell me if a Tubi exhaust adds any horsepower and/or torque to an otherwise stock 360 Spider? If so, can anyone confirm how much increase in power can be expected?

Also, as a side question, does anyone have any information on the upcoming release of the new 360 Barchetta? My dealer knew nothing of this animal when I inquired but is researching info for me.

Nick:

I had tubi on my F355 and have to tell you that it was much much louder than on the 360. I just drove my 360 over the weekend for over 2 hours straight and the sound did not bother me or my wife.

Nick

I drove for about 2 hours with a 360 coupe with tubi and an F50 (with I beleive a stock exhust)this weekend. The F50 was quite compared to the 360 and while is did sound cool it is loud and may wear on you. I think there also may be diff style tubis for the 360 if I am not mistaken - definitely try them out first

My advice,

If you can, drive a 360 with a Tubi before you buy. I bought and installed a Tubi - on the assumption I would like it 'cause "everyone" says it's so cool - and quite frankly, I'm sorry I did. Way too loud for me. Granted, a 360 Tubi may sound very different than a 308 Tubi, however, had I drove a 308 w/Tubi beforehand, I would not have replaced my original exhaust. I may switch back - gonna give it a bit more time to see if I get used to it. Good luck!

I installed on myself, took about four hours all together. If you decide to do it your self give me a email, and I will give you all the tips. You do not have to take the rear bumper off regardless what the dealer says.

Nick:

My 360 came with it and sounds unreal. A must on a 360.
