In NY 4-5 year wait list for an F-1 Spider. Price for a 2002 "used" spider=$260,000-280,000. 2001 spiders with very low mileage=$250,000-270,000. |

Deposit for a modena here in Oregon is 5k 10k for a spyder. However; first one is put on the list and 4-6 mo before production when specs are listed then the deposit is required. I suppose each dealer has his own rules in this regard but all have to sell new cars at sticker. |

What's the deposit on one? Assuming life continues on the path it's set, I'll have the money for a 360 within the next year (maybe 2) once I sell the Viper. Maybe it's worthwhile putting down the deposit now and by the time it comes in I'll be ready to purchase?? |

If you are from the NY area you can try Wide world of cars or Miller Motor cars. Miller has prices that are a bit high though. I've been to both a few times, not to buy though, im still a few years away from owning seeing how im not even out of college. I dont want to share opinions online because i dont know whos reading this. If you are interested, email me. |

you got it - normally a "new/used one" list at the dealers in the mid 200s I bet you can get one for less than that - say $220-$230. These days more than ever cash talks and bs walks |

Ahh I see, that's what I thought. I heard that the dealers have to sell new cars at list price, but no limits on used ones, that's why they play tricks with sell/buy back and ask huge prenium on used cars. Well, I want a 360 Spide F1, so if I don't want to wait, I will have to get it from dealer/broker at the current market price which is about mid 200's? |

Wait list averages seem to be for a 360 2-3 years for a 575 8-12 months. A deposit is required for either and you won't get interest on it. It seems what most people do is by a used Ferrari while they are on the wait list, but thats up to you. |

if you want a new 360 or 575 for list price you need to be on a waiting list. The dealers must sell new cars at list. That said dealers have cars with less than 1k miles which they sell used and markup to a current market value- which is higher than normal list. you can go in a pay cash and walk out with them Tell us which car and we can give you specifics |

Don't laugh at me as this is gonna sound stupid: How do you buy a Ferrari from dealer?? Can you even go into a dealer and order one at list price? Are they not obligated to sell you one at list price? Or they are but they will say the wait is 3 years? Do they only sell to preferred customers? I am in 20's, I have the money for it, and obviously I never had a Ferrari before, so I have no idea how to go about it, don't want to look foolish by walking into a deal just like that. Any help is greatly appreciated!
