I have a 89 328 with the standard size rims an Michelin's. Tracks great and quiet. Have had the car to 120 on these new tires. Have about 800 miles on them. Handles super, looks great. Just the way it is supposed to. Enjoy the car, I love mine. There have been lots of discussion on tires. Check the research data.

Check "348 tire question" and "328 tire help" further down.

I have Yokohama AVS Sport 225/50-16 front and 245/45-16 rear on the 328. It works quite good. The reference was very bad, very old Pirelli 700 front and 7000 rear. New suspension set-up. Everything is much better now but I don't where it comes from. Fresh rubber, suspension, size or tyre design, probably everything.

Ciao

I will be replacing tires on a 328 that I just bought and read somewhere that putting a next larger size front and back gives better handling and a better look. Any thoughts on this?
