I'm with Ernie on the shoes. Those look weird, and I bet they don't work.

a bit lower in the toe I found works bests but basically the same as you. I was going to treat them after I took them out today. The traction Control at a steady jog is amazing - I love them!

Nika, what settings do you dial in on your pair of shoes. Since I walk in mine and you run, I put the heel setting on 2, and the arch on 3, the ball on 6, and the toe on 3. This seems to be the most comfortable setting for walking for me. Do you know if you loose these settings when you replace the power cell? Also are you using the supplied Scuderia shoe horn or your own? How do you apply the conditioning cream from the maintanence kit? The longer you rub it in the easier it is to buff out. It is made by Bergeron and not Connally by the way. I also contacted Fila about the loose control access cover and they are aware of the problem and they are sending a replacement in a couple of weeks.

With all this nagging about the new FILA & to face my fears, I'll go by Ferrari of Houston to check out the CLOWN shoes. I wonder if the salesman will be just as SPOOKY? I'll keep ya posted.

"why not the shoes?"

I tell you why cause the cars are a beautiful piece of engineering, while the shoes are pieces of %#$@.

I don't have it out for the owners. Just like giving them a hard time, school yard stuff.

They have a primary and secondary set of strings [no kidding]. There are no instructions as to whether to use one or both sets. What do you other owners think? To all non owners, It's a shoe thing, you wouldn't understand.

Brian,
Any idea what a major service on these shoes will cost (replace laces, soles, Armor All the plastic)?
I wonder how long Ferrari suggests before replacing the laces. The last thing you want is for one of those to break. You could bend an ankle!

hahahaaaa "elite shoe owners", oh thats rich!!!! you mean "Fila-Ferrari marketing suckers"

There are people that will just throw away money cause it has the Ferrari logo on it. So does anyone want put down there money to reserve their pair of the "NEW" RayBan/Ferrari X-Ray Vision sun glasses.

Oh yeah and if anyone would like to contribute to my "Save the Brooklyn Bridge Foundation" I would be happy to take your donations. LMAO

I can go bowling with my new shoes and not have to change shoes. I just hope I don't get caught leaving and have to turn in my $120.00 shoes. I bet you non Ferrari shoe owners can't do that. I think we Fila-Ferrari elite shoe owners need our own chat room to share ideas and experiences.

I also purchased the T-shirt and be advised that it is much more than a normal T. It is more of a knit without a collar and pocket. I ordered an XL thinking it would shrink as most all Ts do and I hope that this one will too but since it is not a cotton T, I don't know. I would order mine in the exact size.

I'm surprised they didn't use the business strategy of 30 years ago by calling it the "Dino" running shoe, then after it was on the market and if people started liking it, then they could sell Ferrari tags to add on it. ;0

Well - I must admit they certainly are SHINY red - but with the right outfit (no red nose or daisy)......hmmm.....(spoken as a true female) LOL

I like mine.....they fit nice and looked great when I went for my jog this morning.

I have a great pair of VANS (California sneakers)that are a bit out there - (can't picture my accountant wearing them) With the right outfit they work. You see gentlemen - here's a little secret - the ONLY thing that separates us from animals is our ability to accesorize.

I just got back from the Ferrari dealership in Woodland Hills, and they had a pair of shoes on display there. After seeing them in person I stand by my earlier remarks, Butt Ungly! To the suckers that bought a pair you need to have your eyes checked. Saying those shoes are nice is like saying cooking chocolate tastes good.

I got mine at local Footlocker for $109 - not too sure when or if I will actually wear them, maybe just store them as an art object....they are loud but there are several companies making bright red running shoes now, maybe the new comming craze...??? I do know I would not wear them as daily shoes, but maybe to races and car events

Mine came in today and they look better in person than in pictures. They are starting to grow on me and I think they will be OK. The workmanship is not what it should be for the price so I guess they fall right in with the Ferrari tradition.

Didn't Williams Renault have sneakers that left a Formula One Car imprint in the sand? I remember talking with a crew member many years back who had these plain looking blue & white sneakers but on the sole they had a side view of the car - How cool! LOL

I went to the shoe store and tried a pair on. They are lite weight and comfortable. That being said I just don't think I can buy them. I have no idea when I would possibly wear them and can think of only one place I would wear them to, the U.S 500. No way am I paying $110 for a pair of shoes I will only wear once a year.

You guy's are crazy! Those shoes are butt ugly! I don't care if they have a Ferrari logo on them, they are nasty! The only thing you may get out of them is more milage than the car. But then again I doubt it, look at how they are made, half the shoe is rubber. They should have just put the Ferrari Scuderia on rain boots. It should be a crime to put the logo on such a repulsive shoe. That's like having an old Gremlin or Pacer with a Ferrari logo on the hood. Waisted money if you buy a pair of those. Hey why not come out with X-ray vision Ferrari Ray-Bans. You could use them to see through the thick skull of the dope that bought a pair of the shoes.

So our choice of Ferrari Fila's is the red plastic look or as Mitchel mentions below, the "Vintage" bowling shoe look. No thanks, not quite my style.

Now, if they come out with the "Classic" wingtip in red.... just maybe!

Check out the vintage Ferrari shoe on www.fila.com. It looks really nice and somewhat more "mature" than the red one (although I wouldn't mind the red one either). Do you guys use racing boots/real driving shoes when driving on the road? In that case which ones?

No offense to anyone who has purchased them, but those red plastic shoes are just another sign that Ferrari is heading into the toilet. I thought this kind of stuff was supposed to end when Buitoni left. It looks like they're going after the niche the Cadillac Escalade dominates.

Hey everyone, I just bought a pair of the tan/crema Fila shoes. I love them, my friends think they look like bowling shoes. They are made out of nice leather and are light and comfortable, and they have the little Cavallino on them. I took them for a test drive in the 308, and they are good driving shoes!

A shoe store at my local mall has the new FILA Ferrari runnng shoes.
They are a little over $100.00 and go on sale this Saturday.
So, I'm taking the manager of the store for a ride in my car in exchange for the Fila poster that's in front of the store.

The only thing I am worried about is how wide they are. I have to watch what shoes I ware because some are so wide, I cannot get my foot off the gas and on the brake. The pedals are so close.

Let me know if any of yawl have gotten these.
