I'm sure there have been threads on how to upgrade older lighting systems to HID type systems. My question is a little different. What's the brightest, most intense lighting that can be installed on an automobile, not so much for lighting the way, but for retina-burning? And what kind of additional battery/capacitance etc. is needed to support such a system?
