Those guys are really cool over there. I talked to some guy there for a while, i think he was the sales manager.

So, I went to WWoC to get my valve springs which came in from the motherland today (they only had half a set of outers over here so had to send over for the other half). The parts guy/mechanic Dean was cool as hell. We talked for like 15 minutes about modifying 308s and then he was like wait, you've never been in the back have you. He told me to go around and he let me into the work area. They had an F40LM, a Daytona, a 355 Challenge, a 355 Spyder, a couple 360s, a 333sp and the greatest thing ever, a fly yellow Michelotto 308 GTB.
The F40LM was on the lift and the headers were off so you could see all the engine compartment and stuff. Apparently it's aluminum bodied, has much larger turbos, and displaces a lot more that a stock F40. I would say it's just a little bit on the fast side considering it weight a lot less and is a lot more powerful than an already ridiculously fast car, plus it's running gigantic slicks.
The 333 was fly yellow and still strapped down to the huge pallet they ship it on, had the red cover on it too still. What a mean looking car even though I only got a glimpse.
The Michelotto 308 was the coolest though (alright, I may be biased). He said it'll run with 355 and 360 Challenge cars. It has 512 A-arms to allow it to run huge slicks. It had a straight exhaust from each header with what looked to be a glass pack in each. It's modified from head to toe. Had fuel cells on each side instead of tanks, etc. It made me so motivated to work more. Goes to show that there are some devastatingly fast 308s out there.
Alright, I'll go back to lingering in the Tech area (at least until I get back at school where I have more time). I had to tell someone, it was so cool, you guys know how I'm all 308 obsessed and you never really see wild ones like today.
