It does seem like the 355s are moving slightly lower each passing month. However, it also seems like the 355s have, on average, more miles on them than past models have had at the same age.

IMO, the economy has had the most effect on the 355s. The folks who buy the 360s, F50s etc... have big $$ where it counts, the folks who bought the 355s in the good times were upper managment/tech/stock junkies where most of the job cuts/losses occured. Just an opinion.

I agree. The 355 Spider prices have not yet bottomed out. About two years ago, before I decided on my 348 spider I was looking for a 355 Spider. At that time 355 spider prices were in the $140k+ range. So I went with a 348 Spider for $74K. Now 355 Spiders can be had in the $105K+- range and 348 Spiders are still bringing $70-80K. So if I would have went with the 355 Spider then I would have suffered depreciation of over $30k in less than two years. Boy I'm glad I went with the 348 Spider !

I believe not only will 355 come down also will 360 based on following reasons. More high powered cars coming out such as Maserati, Viper, C-6 Corvette, Ford GT40 and others. Their is only so much money to go around.

you're a riot, bill :-)

though he is correct!

IMO it's been a steady, rational decline over the past 18 months. no real surprises.

unless the economy suddenly goes back into bubble-mode, i don't see why that behavior would change.

some might argue that as the 360 spider insantiy ($50K over sticker, etc.) calms down it'll effect 355 spiders, but i think that's a long way away given the waiting lists (still) for the 360 spider.

watch the listings for a couple of months, you'll see the trends.

What does the group think of the current and future prices of the 355 spider? I'm in the market and looking for direction.
