I have sold six previous Ferraris, ALL through ads in the Chicago Tribune......I live in WI. I have a current ad going on now for a Ferrari....this is the second week. Had a few calls, but nothing serious.

Sold a Lotus S4S through an ad in Autoweek, a few years back. May try again with the Ferari.

I have a very promising contact that I hope will provide a result. He has driven the car and is in LOVE!!!! You have to get them while they are in the "heat".

Don't go to exotics4less, I've already mentioned how they scammed me. They are Exotic cars wholesale in Ft. Lauderdale and they are not a car dealership. They sell a lot of cars that are unseen and they make it sound as if they have the car in their possesion or have seen the car in person when they really didn't.

The best place to find any classic car is in the garage of the person who owns it but doesn't want it anymore. By the time it gets to the dealers, you can add thousands of dollars to the price. Wouldn't you rather buy it from the guy that the dealers bought it from for thousands less? Cut out the middleman! Do your detective work. Ask around.

www.ferrarimarketletter.com. It's a subscription service, but worth it. Excellent articles, asking price index, etc.

I was wondering what places you recommend for advertising for sale as well as for someone to look for a used F-car.

I already know about cars.com, Autotrader.com, e-bay, DuPont Registry, Hemmings and The Ferrari Market Letter.

Any other places where individuals might sell or buy?
