Whats great about this type of car is that it can beat the cr@p out of the twin turbo supras people seem to love...in a straight & 1/4; all while handling like a dream on the track...truely the ultimate car IMO.

Wondering, which k-turbo kit do you have? the standard or the really "crazy" one? also, what is your gearing? Finally, how is your trany holding out from all of this power?

Please let us know what your first driving impressions are on this car...

Did you have it delivered or did you drive it from where you purchased it??

It has the koenig "sport chassis" and "racing breaks". I can't notice a diff. from the factory Tr I used to have, but it's prob due to the 10 year old Pirellis on there. Car feels lighter, bit more responsive though.
As far as power, I used to have a 930 Porsche that we dyno'd at 575 rear wheel hp (which is about 650 hp). Car weighed 2900 pounds. When I would run the Porsche at med boost, 600 hp, koenig feels about the same. I think the koenig weighs about 3400-3500,being a european model and lightened at koenig a bit. That is with boost turned all the way down. Once I get car serviced, will do a few runs, turbo boost up a bit. I have no doubt car will be as fast if not faster that my porsche (at full 650 hp). Will post more pics later today.

Thanks,
Taso

Could you clock it from say 60 to 100 or over some increment at full boost that does not require a shift? Higher speed increments get drag dependent. Lower increments require too few seconds so measurement gets touchy. Trouble with dynos is what they do with intercooler operation. You'll put out more power on the highway.

Wonder if theory of relativity applies to your car?

Enjoy!

Just picked up my 87 Koenig Testarosssa, twin turbo, etc. Car runs real strong up high , has a bit of a miss between 2,000 and 3000 rpms. Will get seviced next week.
Clutch suprisingly less stiff than factory, exhaust sounds awesome!! Supposedly makes 800 hp. Will dyno after service . Couple of pics of engine,,, note intercoolers under fender and exhaust .

Taso
