have had various cheaper (than ferrari) vintage cars on with hagerty classic insurance. most recently i was paying about $120 a year for 2 fiat 1500 cabriolets and the fiat dino, with a total agreed value for the three cars of about $22k. no mileage restrictions (they don't even ask for an odometer reading), just have to keep the cars garaged and have at least one other regularly insured daily driver car per licensed driver in your household. the hagerty insurance will then cover your vintage cars to agreed value and the same liability/injury/medical levels as whatever you have the daily drivers at. never had to make a claim but they were great people to do business with whenever i needed to change something or add/delete a car.

i remember seeing several ads for insurance in sports car market and that might be a good place to start.

I'm cancelling Allstate-been with them all my life with only 1 claim and they just raised my rates again. They're way too expensive(ex.-I was payng $744/yr. for 1 of my cars, went with another Co. and lowered my rates just on the 1 car to just $200/yr. Roger B.

I have Allstate insurance.

My 88TR costs about $500 per 6-7 months of driving in the summer, and $250 for Winter storage, with full comprehension on it.

My 83 Boxer is $450 in summer, and $200 in Winter.

They are considered pleasure vehicles, thus can only be drive up to 7,500 miles a year, each. I can take them out any day of the week, even to work, but not on a regular basis.

My deductible is $50-$100, and they are both insured for current market value.

I think this is not bad.

You may want to try Pollman's Classic Car Insurance. I'm going with them later this month and my '80 308 will be about $250 a year(multiple cars). I shopped around for about 6 months and these folks meet my requirements the best. I believe their offices are in Arizona and California. Try 1.800.266.4411, Good Luck, Roger B.

I have used Condon & Skelly ( SP? ) for many years and cars, seem to be upfront people. Just recently purchased by MetLife.
