Well, I still have no clue what is up with the S2000, as I haven't had a chance to make a verification... it's not the same person, tho. The 360 was a total hoax, the s2000 actually, from my current investigations, might be real. I have no clue at the moment, tho

Simon, such hard luck, she promised you a 360 and was lying. I heard on another forum about your bad luck with a S2000 too. Was that the same chick? She lies to you about a 360 and a S2000. Amazing.

Problem is, 900+km is pretty far just to go and START the drive. Besides, taking the #3 from Vancouver (Crowsnest HWY) is spectacular in itself...

Okay, here's an update:

so far we have 3 cars registered.... 3... little...measly... cars...

DOesn't anyone own any cars in Calgary or the surrounding 1000 miles and wanna go on a nice scenic 4 hour drive? =..(

As you can tell, this isn't getting the overwhelming hoo-ah I was expecting from everyone I've asked.

But hey, we got a Ford Focus ZX3, a 427 Cobra replica and a Honda S2000. Yay. =)

Like I said, it turned out that my (now ex-) friend was lying to me. But.. she did make it up to me (somewhat) by buying me a little model 360, but as it stands, I won't be seeing any Ferrari love in the near future of my life =..( I'm still pissed off about it, I really wanted a Ferrari, but hey, to get one I'm gonna have to earn one, just like everyone else.

James, ANY car is invited... you could bring a go cart if you wanted. And there is gonna be an S2000 there so you'll at least share in some Honda joy =D

Anyways, I'll be checking this topic thread every couple of days as much as I can

Anyone know Zahir's #? ;)

He wasn't specific. He said a 360 like this one in light metalic blue.

Did the pump attemdant know if it was a Coupe or Spyder?

I've seen one light blue 360 Coupe here in Vancouver on a couple of occasions. It has the Shields on the fenders. The owner is someone in the Canucks hockey team (Tod Bertuzzi???).

Here's an interesting story I heard yesterday down in Oregon.

Driving from Seattle, I pulled into a gas station to get the tank topped off before the Oregon FCA tour. The attendant (we can't pump our own gas in Oregon) mentioned that a light metalic blue 360 pulled up the day before and the driver said that the car was a gift. That sound familiar, I thought. So I asked him where did that guy come from. He mentioned Canada. So naturally, I thought of Simon Bertram from FerrariChat. Anyway, at the FCA gathering, I was hoping this 360 would show up and meet the driver. That car was a no show.

Any idea who that might be, Simon?

well, I have now sold the mustang and bought a little honda civic, so I don't think I will be able to keep up with you guys. On second thoughts, it's a Vtec motor, so perhaps I can get one of those big exhausts, and some Naaaaaaaaaws.

You need to get a hold of Zahir, he is the guy with the F40 in town.

The 360 never came... she was lying to me, and I ceased the friendship then and there when she admitted it...

so all I got now is a fugly station wagon and a movie that I hope will garner some profit when I release it

Hello,

I have been nominated as the organizer of an August 25th/26th (either day weather permitting) Calgary and area "Megadrive" through the Highwood Pass in K-country. I would like to officially extend an invitation to any Ferrari owner/driver/whatever that wishes to join us to please email me, Simon Bertram, at: [email protected]

There is no entrance fee, we just want the most cars that we can get and I thought that some Ferrari owners might enjoy a little drive with some nice scenery :D

Thank you,

Simon B
