I had a real "LA" moment the other week - I was crossing the street in Westwood and sitting second in line at the light was a gorgeous red 355 spider. Now for the LA part - behind the wheel was a truly stunning young woman. I didn't know which to admire first, or more. She saw me admiring her and the car and gave me a huge smile and followed me with her head as I crossed around her. If I didn't have a girlfriend I'm completely in love with I would've stopped to chat (hey, the passenger seat was open!), but it'll just have to stay a fantasy...at least until my girlfriend and I can afford to get her a 355!

I am guessing that most of you are not from south Florida by your responses to Jack. I hope she got it with her clothes on. Not to say she is or isn't, however, ufortunately, the odds here are that if she's young and pretty she's in the 'Entertainment' industry.

It's true women do complement nice sports cars... In the passenger seat.

When I see a girl in the driver's seat I think -triptonic / automatic.

With loud music blaring, I looked-up expecting to see a teen in a hot-rod... and was suprised to see the back of a womans head with long hair flying as she changed lanes and flew up the beach in the black 550 Barchetta.

Like Jack, my first guess was.. young hotty took her husbands car (just because it is such a rare ferrari).

But I saw her next weekend, driving again, with a man in the passanger seat. When she stopped at the store... he went in and she stayed in the car. I only got a brief look as I was at the stop-light but she looked like she knew what she was doing...it was more her car then his. (maybe he was riding with his sugar mamma)

There's just nothing like a beautiful women in a beautiful car...

Owning/driving a Ferrari is the ultimate fashion accessory/statement, in my most humbled opinion...

Of course, if she was driving a BB, now that would be the pinacle of fashion statements.

I agree with Nika (Bill Hart's transvestite comment notwithstanding). It is truly amazing the stunned looks my wife gets when she drives her 328--as if a woman isn't ALLOWED to drive an F-car. I'll admit it is an unusual sight to see.....but as Ferraris get easier to drive, and more women get past old stereotypes & get involved in motorsports and amateur (and professional) racing, one I hoep we see more of in the future.

Christy Brinkley baby! I think we are all still like Clark Griswald only we are in the F-car trying to pick up the cute girl in the SUV. You can take the dork out of the car, but you can't take the car out of the dork....or something like that.....

If you have seen the National Lampoon's Vacation Movies you will remember the young model who always shows up in her 308 in the early ones, or 355 in the Vegas one. She was a great American icon that always was trying to seduce Clark. Chicks do drive Ferrari's.

Why do you assume, just because a "lady" was driving, that the driver was female?

:-) Nika is back!

Without trying to please Nika, I think that women in Ferraris are a great complement to a nice body styling. To me it shows intelligence and apprechiation for a great car.

I love to see my wife riding in the Ferrari :-)

SEXY!

That was a nice shot to the gut. No comeback? Here's one:

Maybe the "lady" was driving her sugar daddy's ride. Hope HE doesn't find out.

OUCH...that is nasty Jack! WHy is it so shocking to think that a female can own/drive a Ferrari?

Some of us actually bought our Ferrari by keeping our clothes on..........with old attitudes like that it makes me want to generalize too. Having a mid-life crisis Jack? so you bought a Ferrari right?

Check the "Gentlemen's" Clubs. Not to generalize, but if she's good looking and young, that's a pretty good place to start...

I've been seeing a black 550 Barchetta driving around, which is rare enough but with a lady behind the wheel, I thought that made it even more cool. Anyone know this car owner?
