I've been using the CPI guide for about 7 or 8 years. I emphasize the word GUIDE as that is all it is good for. You will see guys carrying them around at collector car auctions but I doubt if anyone will use it as their only source of information. It does come in handy sometimes but be sure to use it as you would the stock tip from your neighbor. Just another point of view |

i've only seen this book used by some of the "iffier" sales folks to justify silly asking prices. i have personally never seen its numbers used by anybody i would consider an informed, realistic seller (individual or otherwise). that said, i have been curious about it as well since i have seen it used. any first-hand information much appreciated. perhaps i'm misjudging these folks. doody. |

I got an Email from this company, somehow I got on their list to subscribe. The prices are too steep on Ferraris & looks like it doesn't give rough conditions, only fair, good, & excellent on average price excluding mileage. the booklet is only mailed out every quarter.
