Shanin, we should be busy all day, I do not know the specifics regarding the skidpad, I suspect the answer is yes.

My last post before the 20th, I look forward to seeing everybody at Buttonwillow!

Should be fun for everyone, I hope we can set up lunch at the track, if you want to bring a desert or something to share, that will be great!

Be safe, Dana and I will be at Concourso Italiano and the Historics this weekend, hope to see you there!

I cant waittttttt !!! the 360 is corner weighted as of yesterday and ready to go. I think I am going to make a quick change to softer springs for this run. it should make the car under steer a little and should also make it a little more forgiving if I get into a corner to quick (or forget to warm up my tires - never agin will I forget). will be getting the slicks remounted on Friday.

look forward to seeing everyone there. P.S. I have two seats in the 360 challenge car.

Hey Chris sorry to bother you but I have a question. Im probably going to get there around noon and I was wondering if there is still going to be some activity at that time. Also is the skid pad area gonna be open?

Thanks so much

I might have to skip class for this, its the first day of fall semester( not a problem ) but I was wondering if you are going to be giving anyone a ride in your car for a lap? I want to make it worthwhile to miss class as I will have to email my professors

Chris,

I too would like to come to Buttonwillow to watch your track session.
I met you and Stephen Patterson at the FCALA track day in May, and look forward to seeing you and your F40 in action again.

Thanks for the opportunity,

Geoffrey

Chris,

I will be seeing you there. Thanks again for inviting us.

On another note. Last week I stopped by the Ferrari dealership in Beverly Hills, to get some SF shields for my car, and they had a 333sp in the back. I asked if it was going to Buttonwillow, but the guy didn't know. I thought maybe it was there to get tunned up? However, he did say that they had another 333sp in a different location. I don't know what they were asking for it, but being that it is the Beverly Hills dealership I bet it is too much. Anyway just thought you might like to know.

See you on the 20th

Ernie

Chris ,
Someone I met that races at Buttonwillow made this suggestion in case more rooms are needed.

German

There are two "areas" where hotels are at.
The "better" hotel is about 17 miles before Buttonwillow, and about 4
miles before the regular Buttonwillow Hotels. The hotel is off the
Stockdale Highway/McKitrick exit. You can see it from the freeway.
Best Western
661-764-6268
253 Trask, Bakersfield, CA 93312

More track hotel info can be found at:

As I had mentioned before, I rented the track for brake evaluation for the new system Brembo disigned for my F40. Tim Gendreau is bring his F40 and 360 Challenge. Roland Linder is bringing his F40LM. I have 2 550's and a 575M coming. Symbolic is supposed to bring a 333SP.

Brembo engineers will be there, Dennis Walsh from Wheel Kinetics and Grant Maiman, Formula Dodge National Points leader and lead instructior for Skip Barber.

If you want to come watch, you are welcome,

We are staying at the only decent motel in the area, Motel 6.

You need to make reservations for Monday, August 19th at the Motel 6, I -5 Golden State Highway at SR 46 14685 Warren ST, Lost Hills, CA (661)797-2346

Let me know if you are coming, thanks Chris
