Martin: thats cool. I was just interested in your real estate stories as that is a side hobby of me and a friends. We are small time..2 duplexes and a house at this point. Adding 2 houses soon perhaps. We are both moving and might just rent out our old places.

as far as community I believe we are doing this here pretty good. Somebody needs a Tubi, refer them to Tino, sombody needs parts, have Nick check out a price for you. Somebody needs book...you get my picture. Why not post a ad with Rob?

Gosh I need to do that too.
Rob some help please!

You need to come meet me because no one ever gave me a damn thing and everything I have and know, I learned it myself.

I started the exact same thread yesterday called "what do you think about this". Kind of like networking with each other if possible. But I am really going for more of a mentor program. many of you have been very sucessful in your endevours and as a younger fella (32)I would like to learn from you all or possibly have a resource to consult with should I pursue something.

I say all this because my dad never took the time to teach me much about business so I have spent alot of time reinventing the wheel. It sure would be nice for someone to just say "no, you do it this way". Obviously, hard work, trial and error and not giving up are keys to success, but I have yet to meet someone who truly "did it all on their own".

Tillman..Thanks, you are a good man.

George...I don't have one but I will ask around. Where have you looked and how much are the bloodsuckes asking.

Gault...good

Kelly...I agree, I like the body color vents myself. I am planning on changing these too. How much and where did you have this done.

Most of you get what I'm talking about. Community.

Jerry I just looked at you profile. I just had my vents painted from black to red to match the car.

I just think it looks better and I will not loose a point at the FrenchQuarter Conourso.

I'll do business with you. Anytime.
So, what do you do for a living????

I deal with the people and companies that give me the best service and quality and assistance. I could care less what kind of car they drive.

I think this is a great idea. I know that most people don't like pitching or soliciting people for business in a hobby or entertainment situation. I have always followed this philosophy and would never want anyone to think that I am around solely to profit off people with like interests. Considering that others on the list may feel this is inappropriate I have emailed you what I do and if you can do the same I will definately use you when I need that product or service.

It seems obvious to me -- Jerry would prefer to send his business to others who own/love Ferraris, and he'd like other Ferrari owners to use the services he and his company can provide if possible. Sounds like a great idea to me.

Last year I made a resolution that I want to share with all of you. My promise was to do more to help my friends out in whatever endevours they may need help (to the degree that it is appropriate). That means in business or personel, home projects, Fcar work or whatever. I also promised myself that I would try to do more business with those people I liked and shared common interests. I have done pretty well so far but... I am, As many of you are, a Ferrari nut, I worked very hard and sacrificed what I could to be an owner but I never seem to do business with any Ferrari owners. I want to change that. I buy as well as sell in my business. I want to help those people that sell products that my company buys and I would love to talk to those people that buy the services my company offers (cabling for networks is my division)

Who's with me?

Email me. [email protected]
