When my M3 was my track car, it always had a set of Victoracer V700s on. Great tires. They are the fastest DOT tires, for either track or autox, available with steel belts... nothing else close. My 360 currently has the new ECSTA V700s. Definitely NOT as good as the old Victoracers, except perhaps longer-lived. I'll be trying a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cups when I wear out these V700s... unless Kumho comes out with a replacement for the V700.

Frank, why were the rear tires shot? Alot of people at the local autox use the V700's, theres a new version of them out now thats supposed to be even better than the old. |

I'vem got Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's on my ///M3 love em. Excellent grip and they give lots of warning before they start to slide laterally. Once heat cycled they do really well in the rain and you really can't beat the price. My only complaint...no noisy burnouts, so the tires spin and the revs jump and you smell the rubber but no noise. |

I use Victoracers on my track Porsche. They have good grip and last a long time. And the price is right. Just purchased my second set of them. Other tires I have used were Goodrich R1 and Yokahoma road race tires. The R1 tires would get the 'groove of doom' after very few events. The Yokos did not suit my car and were noisy (although that did not matter because I did not use them on the street). |

have Kumhos on the MB. Can not complain, but no track driving with the heavy Benz either. Would not put them on my F-Car. Yokohama AVS Sport! |

I just got a set of Victoracer V700's for my TR - so far, so good. They are very sticky and not too noisy. |

I had a blow out of my right front tire on my M5 while in Florida last week. The local BMW dealer told me it would take them a week or so to get me a replacement Bridgestone S03. Since my rear tires were about shot anyway, I went ahead and had 4 new Kuhmo ECSTA MX Y rated tires installed. On the 6 hour trip home I noticed them to be a lot quiter than the S03s they replaced. They were a lot less expessive than the S03s too. I will see how I like them as the miles add up. |

I have a set of Kumhos Supra Exstas <sp?> on both my VW GTI VR6 and a 96 Mustang GT. I also have a set of the Kumho V700 Victoracers on a set of racing wheels for my GTI! I absolutely love the tires, and they did not pay me to say that! Frank, the street tires are very smooth and great in the rain. I paid $60 a tire on the GTI! |

Have some 18" on a Porsche 928. 5000 miles and doesn't show much wear. Have not yet tracked them though. Not a lot of road noise either and good in wet weather. |
