Cape San Blas is a small cape off the coast of Port St. Joe, Fl.. It is a wonderful unspoiled pristine area that the developers haven't hit yet. It was rated as the number one beach in the U.S.A. by Dr. Beach this year and has been in the top 10 beaches for the last ten years. It is about 35 miles east of Panama City and 25 miles miles west of Appalachicola. The beaches are wide, the dunes are high, the water is clear and the bay is teaming with dolphines, manitee and other forms of sealife. The prices haven't caught up with Panama City yet but they are going up as I type. Go have a look, you'll love it. |

Cool...I'll pencil that part of October out. My wife is always looking for reasons to go to the beach. This will be a fun trip. |

Check out the French Consulate in Appalachacola. It was the real Consulate back in the 19th century and has been converted to several suites. It is on the river in the historic part of town. it is a great place to stay and see the sights of the area. |

Craig, on the way home to Tallahassee (usually go up 231 to I-10), I was trying to find a place somewhere half-way between PCB and Tallahassee. I'd love if 2-3 of us could meet up some place. There was another FC member that lives or was moving to PCB. |

I never connected with Greg Rodgers either but you can always give me a call if you're in the area Greg (Owens).... My Panama City home is about 6 blocks from Watson Bayou Marina on the Massalina Bayou (just west of there). |
