To celebrate Ferrari's victory in the 2000 F1 Drivers' and Constructors' Championships, Bisol of Valdobbiadene (near Treviso) - producers of sparkling wine - have made 1,000 numbered bottles of Spumante (a 1997 vintage made by the Millesimato Metodo Classico Talento method) exclusively for Ferrari's clients and collectors.
The Azienda Vitivinicola Bisol dates back to 1542 and its wine is produced with the same dedicated attention to detail and perfection as Ferrari. The vineyard's output is limited and is highly selective to ensure the finest quality. Great care is taken over choosing the ground to plant the vines and in caring for them, right up until the moment comes to pick the grapes. This is done using the traditional hand-picking method in order to select only the best bunches direct from the vines.
