Yes Jon I will be at WG and I can't wait ! I think you bumped my number 23 because you got your registration in first I will probably be 123 or 231. I will drive up Thursday and be at the track Friday morning. Do you know if I can drop my car off Thursday around 6pm at the track? |

Jon, I spoke with Bob at Algar this past Friday, and he was telling me that he didnt think the turnout was all that high. I dont know how involved he is in the registration (I think that is handled by FOW) but that is the word he gave me. Im sorry that I wont be going, as it would be great fun to run with you. BUT....I will see you at the Glen! |

Call Ferrari of Washington at (703) 478-3606 and ask them for a hotel list. I live about 40 minutes from Summit so I don't have any experience with hotels in that area. You could probably drop the trailer off Sunday and leave it there. I think the motorbike guys are at the track so it should be open until at least 5 or 6pm and there should be plenty of space. Jon

William, Normally I would tell you the 7 hour trip isn't worth it, but Ferrari of Washington told me last week they are expecting a larger than usualy turnout and that a customer may bring his Porsche 962 "long tail." Last event I had the privledge of running with "THE" late Bob Akin, who brought his 1000 hp Nissan GTP ZX Turbo. Sadly he was killed a week later at Road Atlanta. Summit Point itself isn't worth the trip, but we usually get some interesting machinery that will make up for the trip. Plus we do have a 3200 foot straight for you to stretch the TR's legs a bit. Hope to see you there. Regards, Jon

I am thinking of going. Its a pretty long haul for me, like 7 hours but it will b my last track date in the North East b4 moving down to Miami. Whats a good hotel nearby with a Large parking lot for my 2 car trailer ? |

I will be there and probably for Monday only. I will be driving up the night before and staying at a friends house in the area. It should be a good time. I look forward to meeting you there. |

....is coming up soon. Was wondering who in the area would be attending. It's the 9 - 10 of September at Summit Point. Here's some additional information from FoW: http://www.ferrariofwashington.com/track_event/track_event.asp I can only make it up on Monday and wanted to see if some of you wanted to caravan up. We could meet somewhere central....like FoW. Let me know. |
