we gutted the whole interior & chopped the nose off the car, took the fuel tanks out. the nose is fiberglass/ kevlar with nothing inside but a fuel cell & an SCCA GT1 race car suspension. I just dynoed my 512TR road car, came out to 390hp at the wheels, typically there is a 15% driveline hp loss so that works out to around 450hp or so at the flywheel which is a little more than stock. I removed the cats, installed a tubi & wrapped the entire intake system with a thermal blanket to keep the heat out, cheap hp boost u can do at home just by cooling the air |

Sounds great. How did you get it down to 2500lbs including a roll cage? Mine starts off at 3600-3700lbs. Also what engine mods got it from 421 to 500 shp? Sounds like a rocket ship.

Taso, I saw your car, nice Seems that germans dont particularly like e-mail so your'e better off calling and asking for Walter, he speaks fluent english, or you could ask Martin to call them & speak to him in German. Germany is about 5 hours ahead of us. Kenny, I tried e-mailing a pic to Miguel yesterday, cant even mail the darn thing |

They just finished the cage & its a beauty, at least 8 points into the frame, in front, & back tied into the suspension & the Koenig bodywork is hung & the fuel cell is in place. They just have to finish up a little more on the cage, paint the body, then we will add Penske shocks, Eibach springs, metal bushings, & drop the engine & trans in. Hope to have her ready for Cavallino. On the engine I will be using an aftermarket ignition, injection & exhaust system, the rest stays stock to protect reliability. With nearly 500 ho in a 2500 # car she doesnt need a lot more power |
