Peter I see u have the stock exhaust, if u really want to hear teh engine slap in a tubi, it looks better from the rear also, all shiney stainless instead of that frumpy stock muffler, & if u Really want to hear the engine take the cat out, probably too loud for most but I like it just fine I went to go see the new Brembo F40 brakes for my 512TR & they r gorgeous!! Seperate hat & rotor like a proper racing brake, a nice large red caliper & the pad surface is bigger than the stock 512TR. Cant wait to try them out | ||

Yes, the V12 growl is intoxicating. Took it out for a quick spin this afternoon. WOW! Even though it's 31C outside I still drove the car with windows down. By the end of the drive, I was sweating with joy! The Mondial's V8 howl is very exhilirating to listen to as well. | ||

if you guys track your 512TRs u will soon discover that the brakes r rather lousy when used repeatedly from high speed. Brembo now has an F40 kit just for our cars. I have the first kit, its being installed right now. I'll give a full update after the FCA WG event next weekend. Gonna surprise a lot of 355 & 360 Challenge cars BTW the stock brakes on the 512TR were not made by Brembo but rather a company named Octagon | ||

Thanks Steve! Likewise, would like to see your F355 topless! I think the weather this weekend is going be sunny and hot. Perfect for your spyder. I think there is going to be a morning drive this Sunday with various cars. Chris may be going. Maybe Ming as well. Will be great to meet everybody. Will let you know. I had my 512TR road car on a shock dyno & she made 390 hp at the wheels, same as a Viper. I made a few minor mods, deleted cats, tubi, wrapped intake to keep it cool. She surprises the helll out of a lot of people on the track The race car has a full cage now, fuel cell up front, a Koenig fiberglass/kevlar body and will have near 500 hp at the flywheel. Hope to drop the weight down to near 2500 #, should be a real rocket then | ||

The 512TR has come!! What an incredible car!! The car handles surprisingly well for its bulk. The acceleration and cornering is simply awesome. The car is simply glued to the road even on high speed cornering. The engine growl. The air con is actually too cold that I had to turn the fan down and the temp up a bit. I am glad we snatched it when we did because I don't think there is going to be one available anytime soon here. Got my new Sony camera 2 days ago, just in time to shoot some photos to share with you guys! Enjoy! Just in time before the sunsets  Whew...nice butt!
