Thanks Scott, and yes Chris the seats do slide and recline. They are MOMO seats and they fit with the factory seat rails and the big added plus is that you get approx. an added 4" more leg room and the seats are approx twice as light and very comfortable. I had carbon kevlar MOMO's before but of course spending more time on the road then track it was too much for getting in and out. The intakes I made was for having a smoother air flow vs. the ribbed factory ones, I didn't have the opportunity to dyno the car but just changing the exhaust system and intake I shaved .8 sec off 1/4 mile times. Don't get me wrong, I don't have this car for drag race- it did it to see what improvement it made for short burst. As you can see I'm not a person who believes in leaving a car alone if improvements can be made, when I bought this car it had a tan interior that was looking worn and the rubber coating on the handles and dash panels rubbing off, something was needed to be done. After months of working on it, it became as good as a show car although the car gets good use of hard driving. I didn't change the chips in the car since it had ones that are soldered on and not the ones you can remove by pulling out. I know there are more things you can do to make it faster like a turbo but I know it wouldn't be as fast like I'd like it to be so I left it alone as it already does fine on the track except for straight line speed. My Diablo is having exhaust and intake modified and tested. So far the work I did on the exhaust sounds 3 times better than the Tubi that was intalled prior and the car pulls much harder than before, yesterday I had an encounter with a Z06 that had aftermarket work done to it and the Diablo pulled away from it almost a car length each second then I braked for it to catch up. I don't like to race on public roads but the temptation was there and the road was totally clear and it was for only less than 30 seconds. The Diablo is slow off the launch but after it gets rolling it flies pretty good and top speed power is there. Sometimes I find myself over 130 in 4th and not realizing how fast it got there.

What kind of seats are those? Did you have to have special seat brackets made? Will they still slide forward and backward? Do you know if you got a HP gain from the custom intake tubes? The car looks great!

Forgot to add, the cats are for visual, they are straight pipe through and for the interior you notice the auto neck strangler system is tossed out. See what else you can find different in this pic.

You really don't need to respray them if they are only chips, the valve covers are rough textured so by even brushing small areas you won't see the chips. I've painted the air filter box the same as the valve covers to match perfectly. I've also attached the interior pic of the car without the yellow MOMO shift knob and wheel, thought it was a little too much so I added a carbon knob which was better for hot days, don't like to shift on a hot alum knob ya know.

Has anyone out there attempted respraying the cyclinder heads on a 348??. The red paint has chipped off in places on both sides of mine and im thinking of respraying them. What I would like to know is how hard this is going to be i.e is it an engine out job? If anyone has tried this and taken pics Id love to see them posted.
