Ralph, I recently did my own on an 86 TR. Cost of all parts, fluids etc was about$900. Labor amounted to a few Guinness. Did take a considerable amount of time, but I know alot more about the car and no longer fear the thought of working on it. Once the engine is out things are mostly straight forward. Having access to a lift is pretty much required when dropping the rear sub-frame assembly down. I have seen prices that range from $3K to $6K for this service. Whatever you do, make sure you don't go only by price in making your selection. Getting a few references from other Ferrari owners is probably the best way to go. Best of luck. I have jpegs of the project if you are interested. Quite impressive once the engine is out of it's nest. Russ |

I don't get it. Why would you go to an authorized F-dealer for service on a old car? LA area: Ferrari Technologies, Larry Englehart 1131 W. Collins, Orange, CA (714) 639-1706 Tell him Martin from Miami said Hi. Very professional shop and independant! Wioll probably save you the equivalent of a Tubi for your car just on that service! |

Hello: Do you know of any authorized factory dealerships in or around S. CALIF, AZ, NV where they give good prices for a MAJOR service on the Testarossa? Some dealers give discounts to club members. Ciao... Ralph |
