While I was trying to sell my 88TR last month, with Black/Tan interior, and 63,000 miles, I couldn't get more than $42K for it. I decided to keep it. The history was perfect, yet people only wanted to steal it. It was in better shape than this one. Based on my experience, I would say about $42K........I personally don't like Black on Black. |

Actually, the stock rear TR cavallino rampante is black -- some of us have replaced it with the chrome version (got mine from Black Bart). |

i noticed that the front airdam was painted but a lot of these cars have that done at one time or another.but what caught my eye was the cavallino rampante on the back grille i thought they are chrome why is it painted? and the rear grille itself looks a little warped on the passenger side and sagging in the middle do they all do that?has the car been rear-ended at some point?i agree a ppi is a must do.just my .02 |

Lewis: The car probably needs a major service and some work. Expect to put another 10 K into the car at least. What I mean: BE CAREFUL! |

It is funny that the luggage belts behind the seats and the cigarrette lighter are missing. The interior look worn out but in relatively good shape considering the miles. The paint all chip like that on the red cam covers is very unusual. I have never seen a TR with that problem. Besides that it looks good if you can trust the info provided, but I will never buy one without checking it personally, and by a qualified professional. Good Luck! |

For me it's always easier to pick out the flaws of a car (since I have one to compare to - mine), and I see a few. Some could be from regular use but as always this may just be the sign of things you don't see. Altho I will say this mine is a weekend driver, I know of a local daily driver that has most of this wear. Some people are just more about the details others more "just drive it". Please check this car out in person and with a qualified tech's PPI - not to say it's in bad shape. Good luck. -Ben

The VIN doesn't decode quite right (probably just a typo), but... |

As easy as it is to buy a Ferrari on ebay, I would sure never buy a Ferrari without first looking it over in person to make sure all is OK, and I would have to drive it as well. I would never spend 48 Grand on a car I did not inspect first. |

I am seriously looking at this car, what do you think is a fair price- note the wear on the driver's seat. Is there anything that I should be particularly mindful of for a TR of this year http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1853290533 |
