Thanks Willis-never even noticed there were latches on both sides of the seat.Pulling both worked perfectly the first time. |

Also, if the seat is pushed as far back as it will go, the release won't work for some reason. Try moving the seat forward a few inches, until the seatback and headrest do not touch the rear bulkhead. I have had this problem too, and moving the seat forward always works. |

Martin, I found that pulling both right and left side latches of the seat simutaneously is necessary to move the seatbacks forward. Willis |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cannot get the back of the passenger seat to go foward the 45 degrees necessary to gain access to the rear shelf.The latch goes up the full distance but 9/10 times does not catch enabling me to push back of seat foward. Is this a big job and how do I go about trying to fix it myself? I posted this in the tech section and got 0 replies so I'm trying here.Help!
