Space-saver spares are options on the 456 and 360. Tire jack comes in a nice leather case similar to the other tools. On the 456 the spare fit into a recess in the trunk covered by a flat carpeted panel. On the 360 the tire is strapped at a 75% angle (or so) in the front trunk and takes up a fair amount of the trunk. The spare was about $670 on the 360 if ordered with the car. The spare for the 456 ordered after I already had the car was, if memory serves me right, between two and three times that price. The two spare kits also looked remarkably similar - I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same. |

My 85 308GTS QV has a full size spare on a factory wheel. Are these the last cars with 'real' spares? |

The 2,000 mile drive made me think: which Ferraris have spare tires? |
