I posted this shot of my grandkids once before under showroom, but it fits nicely here also. At age 2, they could say both "Ferrari" and "Schumacher."

yes wayne that car would certainly solve my problems, and when i saw it for sale in a london show room i went in and enquired. it is one of 7 made by pininfarina, originally for the sultan of brunei. price tag 300k. (there was another thread about this some time back). i admired it but politely declined. if i could find this car for not much more than a regular used 456 i would be all over it since it is perfectly executed and does deal with the 'need' for the a large ferrari, and you would not see yourself coming and going too often either........ |

Ok, then. How about this one for the wife? Talk about a "soccer mom," she can take the whole team.

A 456 wagon?! ugh... A Ferrari four door would be sweet, but a wagon?! That's going the direction of an SUV... |

hehe I was in my aunt's minivan talking with my 2.5 year old cousin when a F355 passed us. Sure enough, her eyes sparkeled... "Red car! Red car! What kind of car is that?" I responded with "It's a Ferrari 'ef' three five five coupe." She looked at me kinda strange so then I just said "Ferrari." What's bad is that now she thinks every red sports car is a Ferrari. She thinks the new 03's Ford SVT Cobra is a Ferrari since she saw one in red... :p |

Ross - you are indeed a total car nut. Nice one. Don't the kids fight with each other as to who is the lucky one to go out in daddys Ferrari? Jammy (on this board) had to get a a 456GT to stop this happening! Frank - that's a little harsh - my eligibilty has just gone out the window. |

my 3 kids (4, 6, and 8), all love the ferrari and can identify all kinds of them and other interesting cars in the street; they watch grand prix on tv with me, and take turns going out for rides; i guess this is what happens when you are born to a car nut.....my eldest is even named scarlett....and my wife thinks i agreed to that because she likes the book/movie so much.......(hope she doesn't log onto this site...) |

I LOVE IT!!!!! All of you and your young racerchicks - I thank you for letting your daughters know it's OK to like cars, just as my parents did for me. Maybe one day people won't look at me like I'm a freak of nature for owning and LOVING Ferrari! NOW let me explain some other things you should be doing - Ferrari BARBIE.....and those great Ferrari Teddy Bears are available to yet instill more Enzo passion into your offspring's mind....... As usual when it is a nice day, our 3 year daughter says, Dad, can we go driving for a while in the "Faaiijjji" ? Mom doesnt like the car too much because of a number of reasons like noicy, bumpy and so on. Anyway, stepping in to the car, my daughter says: -Dad, this is our toy !

Here is another one! I recently got my first F-car and after a checkup I brought it home -- My 6 year old was screaming let's go - let's go -- so I fired it up and took her for a ride. A few minutes in I noticed she looked a bit bored, So I asked whats the matter -- her reply, the seat is so low I cannot see anything except for the Door and the Dash!! Hmmmmm -- |

My three-year old used to love the Ferrari, until I took her for a ride. Now she calls it "the scary car." (And, no, I was not driving like a maniac ;-) -Rod |

My 22 month old daughter makes the sound of a Formula One car racing past. My wife hates it. |

Ok this is going to sound like a story but it is true, My daughter Phoebe who is 22months was playing in our closet, and all the sudden I heard her saying Frrari,Frrari, and out she walks or stumbling waring my "clown shoes" or red Ferrari shoes. How funny is that.

I set up my computer so that when Windows starts it plays a .Wav file with a 308 revving to 8,000 rpm. I was trying it out and my daughter (2 at the time) asked what the sound was. I told her a ferrari engine and her repsonse was "oh, I like that." 2 years old and likes the sound of an FCAR-be still my beating heart. |

Funny, when I was asking to go for a ride in the Spider I meant the twirdly thing at the fair. I had a girlfried witha 4 year old. Took them both in the Testarossa to see a football game in Frankfurt. That little kid could identify ALL cars on the road. I mean just by looking at them. He knew Ferrari and could tell you every car you asked him passing by. Ghee, 10 years ago....he may be a car salesman by now.

My 4,6 and 8 year old children all can identify Ferrari and BMW emblems from across a parking lot. They call my 348 Spider just "Spider". Its funny to hear them ask to go for a ride in the "Spider". |

I was flipping through a new car mag, and was reading about the ENZO, and my daughter comes running up and points to the picture and says music to my ears " FFrrari ". I am truly blessed lets hope she does not want to drive it when she turns 16, because if she asks I would not be able to say No |
