Viken/Steven - you guys are spot on -I have heard the same but I have seen countless 355s sitting on Speedlines etc - they are not really designed for road use.... but nonetheless if you guys want a genuine Ferrari set for the 360 (without getting robbed) send me an email.

Steven is correct. The Challenge wheels are very lightweight and soft. They will bend a lot easier than street wheels especially if tires are under-inflated.

Also recognize that Challenge wheels are not suited to the demands of everyday driving. They do not handle bumps, potholes, etc. well, since they were designed for smooth tracks. They will not last long on the street if you drive your car regularly.

>> Viken - so what you're saying is.... only the Ferrari supplied wheel will fit the 360 Modena - no BBS supplied wheel. <<

Yes! BBS CH is not available in Ferrari fitments. However, I do know that the LM is available for the 355 and 360 but that wheel is 2-piece and heavier than the CH.

>> How much do these wheels cost (the proper Ferrari set)? <<

In the US, I have heard people paid anywhere from $4500 to $7500 depending on where they got them. Usually, they are purchased at dealers but some people have found more affordable sources in Europe.

The 360 Challenge wheels are only available through Ferrari and cannot be factory fitted on street versions. Although the BBS CH is similar in looks, it is not available with Ferrari fitments.

Hey I called about the Challenge wheels and they are $ 5,500 a set. That sounds steep, can you get the same wheel from BBS?

Andrew here is a previous thread on challenge wheels; lists the pertinent info regarding fitment, but no availability info.

But, you can get the Challenege wheels from an aftermarket distributor, follow the link below:

Andrew...I think you can order them through Ferrari, although I think you can get the same wheels from a place like Tirerack.com, at a much better price. They are BBS wheels.

Can you order the 360 with the challenge wheels ?
I have seen 360 with challenge wheels but i wonder if they ordered the car like that or if they changed them afterwards?
Also , how much do you need to lower it to make it look like a challenge car but without affecting the ride quality ?
