That is a great color for the 512. The 360 looks great in light blue too.

That's a really nice color on the Testarossa but the F50 looks like an Easter egg

The two Testarossas below are from a tread called "Blue Ferrari" that I started a few months ago.

I think his wife (Jennifer?) has a grigio ingrid 360 Spider. Yes, she is a very nice a beautiful lady. Mark is a lucky guy.

He also has a red F40.

William, yep same car.

Mark sold all of his Ferrari's after he got married a few years ago (to the nicest and most beautiful women I have ever seen).

On man in Dallas bought his F50, his wife's 550 and his F355's, he may have had other Ferrari's too.

I understand Mark has bought a Ferrari again, but I do not know what....... it is a small world!

this is the story of the f50 as told to me by sid simpson about three years ago. the car was originally slated to go to joe jamail (one of two he had on order). something happened with fna and the car went to mark rand, who had the car painted the sky blue color by ferrari of houston (i don't know the name of the body shop that painted the car, but i assume it's the one always used by ferrari of houston). the car was beautiful as can be seen in forza magazine. as for its where abouts today, i am guessing you are right, it was sold and returned to the red configuration.

William, I think I know the F50 you are talking about, it was red, then painted blue by Ferrari of Dallas/Houston (no F50 left the factory in any shade of blue). That car traded hands, and the current owner has returned the car to red.

(We may be talking about 2 different cars, but what are the odds of 2 BLUE F50's in Texas?)

By the way, the 512TR pictured is BEAUTIFUL!

the car is hyperion blue. it is owned by by a man that i know and he lives about ten m,inutes from me. he bought the car about a year ago. late last year, there was another hyprion blue 512tr here in houston that had come from florida. it claimed to have a "custom" interior from the factory. the interior was completely trimmed in tan leather including the handbrake and sterring wheel. i did not find it pleasing to the eye, i do not know what happened to this car. late last year, ferrari of seattle advertised a hyperion blue 512tr and claimed it was only one of three made, i don't know how true this is. as for the lighter shades of blue, there is a wide range of names that this colvers. however, thereis a f50 here that has been repainted a sky blue color and appeared in forza magazine a while back. i believe it was called azurra california.

I think Hyperion Blue is the same as Azura Blue if anyone remembers that color. The picture below looks like Chiarro Blue, but the way Ferrari changes the name of their colors who knows. I think Serra Blue was then called Le Mans Blue and now is called TDF blue when metallic and Pozzi blue non-metallic. Color names are very confusing. I have a bunch of blue Ferrari pictures that I have collected, I will look for Testarossa pics.

William, the pic that Dave put up is not Hyperion blue. I think it is TDF blue or Pozzi. Hyperion is much lighter metallic blue, almost a sky blue.

Hey Steve, now I remember! That is where I saw the Hyperion blue car! Good call!

Don't know. The blue one, above, lives in Houston. I have been a passenger in it on the track--it drives & sounds spectacular!

There is a white one here in Austin--I have seen it & driven behind it--with Calif. plates. Also, there is ablack one here, owned by an acquaintance of mine--gorgeous! I remember seeing a picture of a maroon one about 6 months ago--perhaps on Symbolic's site of Mikle Sheehan's? I don't remember.

Great picture Dave! Can you imagine how many were made in that color? MAYYYYBE 4? That is a rare car. Damn I love that!

I have seen a burgandy 512TR somewhere, and I've seen a white one that looks good. Have they ever done a green one?

Yes, in fact they made (I think ) 3 different shades of blue on the 512TR. One of my favorites, is called Hyperion Blue, its a medium metallic blue. I saw that car for sale a few months ago and loved it. Can anyone back this up?

I've never seen one in this color. Does anyone have a picture. I think the car would look bad ass in dark blue. Did Ferrari paint them in this color?
