Most F-cars on E-Bay don't seem to actually sell. You can do what I did and contact the seller after the auction and buy the car thru regular methods. I don't believe that E-Bay auctions give buyers (and sellers) enough time to put together a good deal & PPI. Sometimes, sellers will also end an auction early if the car sells by other means, so you may want to contact the seller directly now. I always look at the auctions as just a way to advertise the car more than anything. |

As you know the Ferrari is a complicated, sophisticated machine. If you can work something out with the seller "IN WRITING" that you can put a refundable deposit on the car and have a technican of your choice inspect the car, then its worth a try. Otherwise If it looks to good to be true, it probably is. My guess is that he probably won't go for it. Let us know. MAGOO |

looking at a 1986 328 at e-bay, good price:32700, 40000 miles. Is this wise? also looking at other much higher prices. |
