Sweet. On Saturday night I was at a restaurant and a black Testarossa pulled up. I have to say that it is impressive. It sounds so nice and the thing just looked devilishly handsom. Although I'm still a 308 guy, there is no doubt that they Testarossa is a much more impressive car to see and hear (and I would imagine to drive as well). Good Luck with it.

Hey Mark, Sorry I missed you! With all the excitement with the car I forgot there was an Internet anymore. Anyway, I have been taking it easy with the car, although I have not stop driving it, and looking for things for it, mostly car care stuff. I am looking around for a trailer to take the car to Arizona to do the registration thing, but haven't found one wide enough. I am thinking that I might have to drive it over there myself. Oh well, more bonding time I guess won't hurt!

Great job! I just put my new steering rack in (what a job!!!) and next I'll drop the engine. AHHH! I would like to drive it up to see you but the belts scare me. What are you up to this weekend?? I'll be up in Long Beach with the Vette. I'd love to see your "baby"

Guys, I took delivery of my new 1990 Ferrari Testarossa today! The drive home was about 2 hours from the seller's house, mostly thru traffic, but I tell you, I enjoyed every gear shift, every rev, and every sound. It is a Black/Tan car with 12800 miles.

The seller put these awesome Chrome HRE wheels which design is based on the original TR wheels. Astonishing combination and looks. I will be posting pixs as soon as I can get a hold of a Digital Camera. By the way, the original wheels/tires were part of the sale and they are in what seems perfect condition. The car also included a jet coated Borla exhaust system as well as the original exhaust. This coating apparently prevents the yellowing of the exhaust with time. I believe the Borla exhaust has been on the car for the last 3k to 4K miles and it still looks new, clear, shiny, chrome like.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this Forum that contributed with ideas, experiences, and advise over the past few months. I believe that due largely to your support is that I finally decided and acquired this masterpiece. It was a bumpy ride, I must say, but it was all worthed because I was able to gain lots of knowledge from your comments and experiences which definitely made this purchase a successful one, and I hope that the knowledge gained here will allow me to enjoy as much as possible the best Maranello has to offer, Ferrari.

Thanks so much,

Caribe.
