Michael, The guy you want to speak to in Frederick Md. is Nelson Grimes this guy has been doing classic cars for years.I had totally forgotten about him. My son has used him before and my boy is like me in that he is very particular about his cars. I have seen his work off and on over the years and it is outstanding. He is a guy who loves his work and takes a little longer than most shops to do the job. You might give him a call and get together with him to see some of his work. I don't know his schedule or prices. But I do know that his work has been well respected over the years. Nelson Grimes, 301-694-6555. Call between 7:30a.m. and 8.00a.m. to catch him. MAGOO |

Michael, I talked to my son briefly this evening. He was on his way out, but he mentioned a name of a paint shop that I remember in the Frederick Md. area. An older guy runs the shop and he is a "Perfectionist." I will get the entire info. and get back to you. I didn't want you to think I had forgotten about you. Talk to you soon. MAGOO |

Oh yeah, I know where you are. Nice area. You may take Davids suggestion of the body shop he recommended. However, my son lives in northern Maryland now and if you want me to I will ask him if there are any shops in and around him or in the Arlington area that aren't rape shops and put out good work. Hey Michael, my son lives in Maryland. What part of MD or VA are you talking about. He once worked for a shop in Arlington Va. As for a going price, Well first of all it is a Ferrari, up price, but I would say prices for a good job without any bodywork would range from the $3000 to $5000 range. Now I know that there is a range there of $2000 dollars, but there are those shops that add the name Ferrari into the bill. MAGOO |

Might have fun and paint my baby this September. Any references for excellent paint shops in MD or VA would be appreciated. And any leads on how much it should cost would be great also. Thanks. |
