Yeah I like Goodyear too. The Fiorano's were the stock tires on the 355s anyway. I like keeping the things I buy from the US and Italy in this case. I'm not a big fan of Japanese automotive products so I tend to stay away from them, so my opinion may be biased somewhat on many things in the auto industry. The pirellis are really good in the rain. I used to be able to spin the tires accelerating in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears in the rain (punch it above 4000 rpms). With the pirellis it is hard to do in even 1st, forget the other gears. For a good all around tire I like them.

S02 PP's are pretty shotty. A bit harder of a tire, not worth the pain of trying them out either.

The S02A's - I'm not entirely familiar with that specific model, but after attending a Bridgestone drive n' learn event up at TMS, the OEM S02's come in all different flavors, sizes and tread patterns - depending upon the OEM specifications. The event was to promote the S03's, which will replace the S02PP's - a bit harder tire, but the technology behind it will keep a consistent tread wear, even once they are well worn. So, if you know the S02's when they get pretty worn, around 6-9K miles, then you know what I'm referring to. Almost like butter.

Conner ([email protected]) has been able to get ahold of OEM S02's for the S2000, so you might want to ask him - specifically him - and see if he can get ahold of the S02A's.

Bret,

Do not confuse the S-02A with the other S-02's. This tire is completely different from the regular S-02 and S-02 Pole Position. It has a different tread pattern and rubber compound. I have them on my 360 and they seem to grip very well in the dry but I don't know about their wet capabilities. As far as I know, the S-02A is only being installed on the 360 at the factory and is not available anywhere else. Here's a picture:

IMO, the best dry tire for the 360 and other Ferrari's is the Goodyear Eagle F1 Fiorano. However, do not expect this tire to last more than 5K or 6K at the rear and it doesn't perform well in the wet.

They suck in the cold. Wow, they really are horrible, or at least the ones that I had on my car which were the top of the line performance ones did. I have Pirellis now and they are better in every condition.

The Bridgestones are good all round tires but I think they are better in warmer weather than cold

What are the best summer tires for a 360 Modena?
I got mine equipped with Bridgestone Potenza S02A.
