"maybe he was just to busy to proof his auction??" re 'dew' where should read 'due'. Or more likely he wouldn't notice an error even if he did a proof read! What an arse |

Not to say all Ferraris being sold on Ebay is a scam, in fact I'm sure most are legit but this Enzo? Come on, it doesn't make sense to me. |

No Ferrari comes with 0 miles . They are all driven over 100 miles before being shipped out of Maranella. |

Bob, If the fees are still the same, it costs $ 40.00 to list a vehicle on Ebay. There are options that cost a tad extra, such as setting a reserve and using the "buy it now". If the car meets the reserve on Ebay, there is an additional $ 40.00 flat fee.

Im wondering, how many suckers would actually place a bids without knowing the fine print or details. I knew this new Ferrari would eventually appear on Ebay but this was fast. Also, agree with you all The Seller, What an IDIOT Rob |

Jim, Thank you for the mention...much appreciated. Even to be mentioned in the same sentence and Martin is an honor. Ebay has actually worked out very well for us too. It is an expensive classified ad, but one cannot beat the advertising "bang for the buck". Ebay reaches the right segment of the population. I have made only two sales through the actual Ebay auction process, but most sales were consummated after the auction (like Martin mentions). But just like anything else, you have to be careful. You MUST have that pre purchase inspection. Well, perhaps you can't have a PPI for a faux Enzo.

And would love to see what this guy has for a valid vin# Oh and by the way, they do not allow Ferrari cars to be raffled off Chris Sawyerr.. Now Ya got Ferrari after you as well. |

BTW thanks Jim ! See the way I see this is no sane person would buy a car through eBay but all of you look there and see what is on the market. There are some interesting cars and those will be sold, but outside of eBay. I just recently got a sale through eBay. The buyer contacted me and ask many many more questions, but initially he saw the car on eBAy. Long after the auction did he buy.

Guys I have to disagree with you all. EBay now has become a advertising tool for many dealers. Just a question of time till F-Dealers will be on there as well. Prestige Imports of Miami has started with advertising Ferrari and other high end cars on eBay and apparently it works. As for this auction, I have seen this seller selling some other F-cars in the past. He could very well be what he said he is. Look at the auction careful: 1. no mentioning of send me a deposit before you get the car. 2. no mentioning of exactly when he will get the car. 3. no reserve met yet 4. no "you are bidden on the premium you are paying over sticker"-bull. I see this as one legit sale. If you want one, I think you can bid on one here. |

Its BS. What kind of millionaire goes searching on ebay for a million dollar toy? Very few I imagine. eBay is getting a bad name in my book. All these BS scams make me fearful of buying anything worth more than $10. I will never buy an F-car from them. I'll just call Howie, Martin or ECW here in Dallas or post my wants on this board. |

To have a car like this in possesion, something rare, and IF you are an enthusiast, why would you want to sell it? You obviously make enough money to be chosen to have this car so whats a few bucks made vs keeping it? If I had the money to buy it, it would mean I'm pretty well off to even bother to sell it and rather enjoy it as it appreciates in value like most Ferraris, unless one, the owner really didn't like the car or 2, toying around to see how many suckers really would pay for this car, or how much they would pay for it. |

I CAN'T believe that people actually bid on this sort of thing.......imagine, 35 bidders so far. He probably wants 10-20% down within 3 days after the auction ends. As Ebay grows bigger, so do the scams!!!!!!!! |

Are we supposed to believe this guy is one of the 349 selected by Ferrari to own one? I didn't know Chris Sawyerr was so "in" with the factory. |
