One of the SFSD dealers is a big Ferrari enthusiast who currently is rebuilding a 330GTC. Met him here at a little car show in town where he was showing a DeTomaso Pantera, #16/25 of the original winged, flared cars. He hired his own mech, and offered his services to me, so I took him up on it. There is another guy who works on the rest of the cars in SFSD (he says about 30 Ferraris in town, incl 2 F360's), but he isn't always very nice.

Hey Mark,

Where in Sioux Falls do you have your service done? I am originally from the Sioux Falls/Brookings area...just curious. What model(s) do you own? Thanks for the info...

I'm from way down in the SW corner of the state. The Donnybrooke guys do service Ferraris, and at the Auto Show, they always have a stand with some Ferraris, last year an F355C, this year an F360. They seem more of a racing club that likes Ferrari. I go to Sioux Falls, SD for service as it is MUCH closer than you guys way up north.

If there is any interest, a club here in town does some AX at the airport, not real technical but fun, and faster than the highway.

Yes, I believe Donnybrooke here in the Twin Cities Metro does Ferrari work- I spoke with someone from there a year ago or so. I'm not sure of certified mechanics or specific specialties, though. Btw, thanks, Fred, for the information, and please feel free to pass along any local owner gathering events or related items!!!

Right here. In the Milwaukee area, there is a factory trained mechaninic at Reina motors in West Allis. There is also a sports car shop on the west side of town that works on Ferraris. I can get you more info if you want.

Fred, does Donnybrooke also do Ferrari service? I am in Black River Falls in West Central Wisconsin and I understand the Chicago dealer, Continental Auto Sports, is the closest dealer. They would be about 4-5 hours away compared to 2-3 hours to the Cities. It would be nice to find closer service. Any other Wisconin owners out there?

Mark-
I'm a recent F355 owner in the Twin Cities. I haven't found a formal club, but Donnybrooke (racing and repair shop) in Spring Park seems to organize the informal group. They have a track day at Brainerd scheduled for July...I think Derek Bell may be coming. Don Bodine is the contact there. Best of luck on the Ferrari search!

Hi, I'm a newbie to this discussion board, and I was wondering whether there is any of you Ferrari owners out there that are part of a formal or "informal" club in Minnesota. I have read a couple threads where some of you discussed driving up here...I am not yet an owner, but I'm looking to purchase a 308/328 in the next couple years, and would like to network with some owners who know a lot more about the "ins" and "outs" of ownership.
