I just heard about this myself. I used to live in that subdivision, and my family has used Corporate Cleaners for as long as I can remember. Never met the guy, but the people there are always really nice. Shame to hear it.

Ferrari is a very common last name, esp of course in Italy

The last car in the world a "Ferrari" would own is a Ford. Ford was Enzo's headache for years.

But who's Ford's daddy now? How many points does Ferrari have vs. Jag this year. Enzo is smiling.

I wonder of he were related to Enzo. Notice the mispelled word in the offical annoucement. This guy lived about 4 miles down the highway from my house. I did not know him.

Police Recover Murdered Man's Car

SLIDELL, La., 2:10 p.m. CDT September 6, 2002 - Police have recovered the car stolen from a Northshore businessman who was found dead Thursday in his home. Detectives in St. Tammany Parish are searching for his killer.

Lou Ferrari, 61, owner of the Corporate Cleaners dry-cleaning chain, was found murdered in his home late yesterday afternoon in the French Branch subdivision east of Slidell. POlcie will not say how he died.


Deputies said his car, a 2000 white Lincoln Town Car with Louisiana license plate JLM129, was found Friday at 10:30 a.m. off of Old Spanish Trail.


Neighbors reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area at the time of the murder. The vehicle was an older model van painted an unusual shade of blue, police said.


Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office at 985-898-2338.
