Of course those are NUMBERS MATCHING bolts with the correct head markings and factory original patina on the bolts heads. Worth 10 times what any normal bolt would be. Just ask any old Vette owner. |

There are several dedicated Corvette magazines as well as Hemmings that has a bunch of older Vettes. You definately need to drive one of these older cars before you commit to one especially if you actually plan to drive the thing on a regular basis because they drive AWEFUL as compared to todays cars. While the 60s cars are all works of art IMHO, the mechanical and suspension and steering is terrible. The old 50s T-birds and Vettes up to the mid 80s are a joke when compared to todays cars.Go drive one and you will agree. |

Do some thinking about what would be a fair price for a car in good driving condition. Then get ready to pay 5 or 6 times that much because all of the decent cars are already in the hands of wheeler dealers, shysters, redneck money grubers trying to get rich, etc. I found a decent looking, intact 1959 Corvette a few months ago parked outside between a small house and a house trailer. Turns out it belonged to your typical redneck Bubba. His mommy said that he wanted $40,000 for it. Another idiot. |

I used to own a 59. You need to be real careful, a lot of these cars have been faked. |

One of my law partners is considering buying a 58-61 Vette. Does anybody have any good sources devoted to this car? Thanks for the help. |
